sth happened today which brought me back to a few mths ago, when i have had a disagreement with a friend of mine.. and till today we ain't talking. why? i duno. anyway here goes ...

supposed to be meeting annette for dinner.. during the course of the day, xchanged msgs & got to noe tt she's bz (so am i)... & so agreed tt after dinner, that's it! nua-ing & off we go! work is tiring man! blah blah blah..

so left office @ 630pm (meeting time was 630pm) called her, she completely lost track of time and she's still in office!!!

and where was i? on e train towards e meeting place!

was i peeved? no, was she apologetic? yes! i demanded a treat from her and this ain't a issue anymore!!

its like we both have had e same idea, to catch up rest & off we go.

rewind to a few months back, e scenario is about the same - to haf dinner, catch up a little and then meeting our respective bfs for our whatever stuffie - movies, mjs what nots...

so why issit so tt when things got "cancelled" last min and things got blown up??

sigh. nvm... and yes, this is still bothering me... cus if this is the way the friendship have to go, it's just so.. silly! hah!

let me just get the facts right, i aint using this post to get at anyone, just letting my fustrations known. its a small issue, yet it got so outta proportation.

and sad to say, this just shows how much friendship is worth. ;)

talking about lateness, eug's "virtue" caused us to miss lunch buffet @ kuishin-b0! wanted to go there for so frigging long already, each time we were there it's either e queue is too long, or the queue is too long!

& it so happened that i took half a day's leave to accompany eug, and he hadda waste my half day's leave!

u see, half day's work ends at 12pm, he reached suntec only at 2pm!! lunch buffet finishes at 2.30. -_-

what ensued later on was a lengthy, violent & disgraceful quarrel - one which is another entry altogether. shall spare u guys on the details and just move on YEAH!

p/s : e quarrel ain't bout missing lunch @ kuishin-bo, but at the urgh-ness! imagine e half day wasted!! 12pm - 2pm!!! tts 2 hrs man!

its really really pwetty (for those who care about how it looks), and the functions are pretty impressive as well! i was kinda disappointed that my ixus doesn't come with some of the functions in my minolta. but it's a give and take thingy rite? & it's still in tip top condition! not to mention, it takes beautiful day time shots!

as for the cons, i shall leave it to u to find out............... not!

suddenly,

just as my whole world came crashing down on me (boy, i need to repioritize man! i cant let tt be my whole world!), something i saw earlier on woke me up. nope, i wasn't there rooted to the ground in shock, or rather, yes im standing there in shock, not of the attack, but of reality.

my problems r minor, i have a steady job, a great family, wonderful friends - compared to them.

so why, am i losing myself to sorrow i wonder. i woke. life goes on. :) thanks people in parang. HAHA

and what woke me up? people in parang, or prolly i shld say, long kitchen knife! (i used parang to erms, amplify the seriousness ahha) was outside marina 7-11, waiting for the maxi cab tt we called and all of a sudden, a group of malays started yelling and throwing their drinks ard, we dismissed tt as normal street fight, but when 1 of them draw out his knife, we know it's sth more than tt. and they kicked and punched, and i saw the one holding e knife "hacking**" the one on the gound. we were v close to them, and by v, i mean v... and that was when i stood rooted to the ground, and thanks ker, for pulling me to safety.. otherwise HAHA i might still be there standing. and yes, we (buddies) were the closest to them. HAHA. and yes, i noe im a burden, but what can i do? need i explain our friendship further? (ni de korkor shi wo de jiejie =x)

what an experience...

cabbed back later in maxi cab, saw this little girl at the garden, and i was yet again shocked, and beside this girl was this white kitty, freaking creepy can! (not to mention tt girl was in white)

but conscience told me to go and see whether tt girl is aright, i mean 4am, and a little girl of barely 7 downstairs, not healthy man.

i went, talked to her and she pointed to her dad at the playground! HAHA, heaved a sigh of relief.. headed back home and MY OPI ARRIVED! hrhur damn happy... my cutie and mishop nxt pretty please...

and not forgetting, i got my new lappy today. thanks jiejie de korkor for getting me sucha great deal! HURHUR.

miniholiday

alright, pictures of my mini holiday!

HURHUR! well. it was up to genting once more.. fun fun trip.

BUT it passed a tad too quickly! hurhur a wink of the eye, 4 wks have passed. and here are some really overdue pictures. ;)

the attendee this time round, charles, chris, eug & myself. u know, i would really wanna go on a holiday with buddies instead of just the "genting group" but they're just too tied up with their work / NS commitments. :( BUT then again, if we were to go on a full force holiday, i suggest tt we go to a rest & relac place instead of a busy place. how?!

anyway, anyhow till then..

the coach tt we sat in to genting was simply won-der-ful! super comfy, BUT the problem remained. we're still unable to sleep. and we're sitting there in the comfort of the coach, thinking of what matters to us. haha.. then halfway thru, the guys started ds-ing and me? still struggling to sleep & just when i found the best position to sleep, we reached our destination. =/



reached at bout 3ish am & we can't check in!! so, we placed our bags @ the counter and headed to the casino. and on the first day, i lost. HURHUR. i won initially alright! i won the cost of genting trip, but i guess greed overcame my sanity and i played longer and lost 200RM! HURHUR

and guess wat? we played from bout 3ish am till 10am. tts 6 hours man!!

finally got to check in our hotel @ 10ish am, but the room was still in a mess, cus the previous occupants just left and yarh. so we hadda roam around genting for another short little while before gg back to our room. and THANK GOD! my room was cleared first... HURHURHUR... a warm shower later, i fell straight into bed and slept till the 2nd batch ppl came.

blogging @ a much later date is bad, cus e memories are kinda fuzzy, and yarh, u get my drift. c'mon, im still in the 256mb era alrite!

so, i forgot what exactly did we do in e afternoon, but the girls split up to go shopping in e evening & the guys returned to the lion's den. we met later that evening for dinner & some coffee went to a pub @ firstworld and yarh tts basically about it.

u see one the first day, chris & i actually saw this promo going on to visit a animal santuary a cable car ride away from genting and since chris wanted to give a shot on the cable car ride, so we bot tix for that animal santuary + cable car ride and yup off we went!

on our way back, we were STUCKED many feet above ground due to a very bad fog & that cable car was literally bouncing about on the cable lines. it was freaking scary can! and eug was trying to "bounce" the cable car futher! i mean, not at tt time purrrrlease!!! lol. anyway we made it back to genting safe & sound. haha. but that was really an scary experience larh. u see the fog was so bad :

& now the pictures of the animals santuary, some really really cute animals, and i personally quite like the monkey, if not for the fact tt it pee-ed on me. YES! PEE!! ON ME!!! gross! spent bout 2 / 3 hrs there and off we go..

went back to e hotel & washed up (duh!) and went off to ripleys. pretty fun larh, esp the stupid bridge. we were running on that bridge like silly children. laffing and bumping into the railings. & that hurts so much.

after dinner, coffee, chilling, shopping & casinoing later, we headed back to the room. & we're pretty drained by the 2 days activities and we just stayed in e room & rest & relac, ds-ing, heart to heart talk. hurhur.

woke up the nxt day with a heavy heart. we're leaving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im already missing the ice cream there! it is super yummylicious can!! and before i forget the name of the ice cream palor, it's baskin' robins. i totally love their ice cream can! but it's freaking exp. 17RM for 2 scoop? but it's super nice larh, like super super!

enjoyed e trip - lots! HURHUR! and somehow tho. genting is pretty small, we still didn't manage to finish all the stuff tt we wanted to do.

like gg up to the genting "observator", for a movie with OSIM chairs, air gunning, dimsumming, prating and some more which i cant really recall at this moment. but yarh. it was good. one thing spoiled the holiday, my ulcer! u see it's on the upper gum area, just behind my front tooth, and i cant eat properly OK! it hurts so super much! and the nxt best thing? it healed so fast when im back in SG. =( but at least it's no longer bothering me. hurhur.

& it wasn't as cold as the previous time i was there, but on e last day, it was alot colder than the last 2 days i was there. what a pity =(
